First

So I'm not much of a blogger but I think this will be the best way for everyone to keep up with what I am doing this summer. It is about a week or so away from the training in Philadelphia for YouthWorks this summer and a week after that I move to Brooklyn! I was really excited to hear about Brooklyn and did a lot of praying and thinking about where God was going to place me. I knew from the get go that I wanted a different experience then Philadelphia. Obviously Philadelphia is a city I hold dear to my heart, but I wanted to see something new, something fresh where I could make memories of my own in.

So Brooklyn was it. I am excited to experience all the culture and all of what God will be doing in the big city! I know He has huge plans for the students that come to our site and I pray that they come ready for big things too. God can move mountains and I have a feeling He is going to make a lot of great things happen this summer. I could never have imagined myself doing this too! This probably is the first time that I am doing something on my own without knowing anyone else and it is scary but exciting. One thing is certain however, the future holds big things and this summer will be huge and a summer I will probably never forget. My prayer is that God makes me teachable and that I can grow, learn, and refine things about myself that will better serve His kingdom.

Please pray that God prepares me mentally, physically, and spiritually for Brooklyn. He has the power to do great things and I know He will surprise me in whatever He decides to do.
So here's to the future.
